The Arnau Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria is a Brick Gothic church 8 km east of Kaliningrad near the Pregolya River and the Russian-Lithuanian border. It was built in the 14th century in the East Prussian village of Arnau (modern Rodniki) and contains more than 200 medieval frescoes. The Soviets used the church for grain storage.[1] It was not until 2003 that a restoration campaign was launched.[2] The building belongs to the Kaliningrad History Museum and is used for exhibitions and orthodox liturgy.[3]
